At least 73 people have been killed
in three days of violence in ivory coast's main city Abidjan, morgue officials
said on Monday. Morgue workers at two of Abidjan's main university hospitals, in
the neighbourhoods of Yopougon and Cocody
said that 67 bodies, with gunshot wounds, had been
taken there between Thursday and Saturday. Six
more bodies, including those of two policemen, were
taken to the I vosep mortuary, officials said. On
S unday , police
gave an official death toll of 37 people. |
